CPP Says the Ball is at CNRP Side

A high-ranking officer of Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) said that a changing from demonstration to peaceful pray of Cambodian National Rescue Party (CNRP) is a testimony for the country and nations as the citizens want peace, yet a meeting between the leaders of CPP and CNRP depends on CNRP. According to H.E. Cheam Yeap, a high-ranking officer of CPP, Mr. Sam Rainsy has requested for a meeting with the leader of CPP in order to discuss and find solutions concerning the country issues. As a matter of fact, CPP is ready to cooperate closely with CNRP, and the citizens also wish both parties to reach a discussion so as to solve the issues peacefully. 2.                 Diplomatic Issue

The Chinese Government Grants Additional 200 Million Yuan Financial Loan on Annual Project to Cambodia

The Chinese Government granted 200 million Yuan financial loan to Cambodia in addition to the loans and grants provided in April of this year. The loan announcement was made during a bilateral meeting between Cambodian Premier Hun Sen and H.E. Li Keqiang, Chinese Prime Minister in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Region of the People’s Republic of China. During the meeting, both parties expressed their appreciation for the development and cooperation of the two countries in all fields including politics, economy, security, technology, tourism and so on. In addition, both parties also pledged to boost the relation between the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), saying that the exchange visit of both leaders lately was very important to further enhance the relationship of the two countries. Besides, H.E. Li Keqiang congratulated CPP for its victory in the fifth parliamentary election, and hoped that under Premier Hun Sen’s rule, Cambodia will gain further success.  (Rasmei Kampuchea, 4 September 2013)
