Ministry
of Interior Permits CNRP to Make a Demonstration but Not a Procession and Camp
The Ministry of Interior has
permitted the Cambodian National Rescue Party (CNRP) to make a non-violent
demonstration on 7 September 2013, at Freedom Park, yet it did not allow to
make a procession and camp to continue the meeting. Besides, it has permitted
to have not more than 10,000 demonstrators, which is the maximum number of the

Around
20,000 Demonstrators Join a Demonstration with CNRP to Protest against the
Election Results
Around 20,000 demonstrators
joined a non-violent demonstration with the Cambodian National Rescue Party
(CNRP), and the protest leader warned that he will make a protest in the whole
country until the problem can be solved. A non-violent demonstration was made
on 7 September with the presences from the people as well the monks who held
lotus flowers symbolizing peace, placards and ribbons. Mr. Sam Rainsy,
President of CNRP, delivered a speech to demonstrators that the aim of peaceful
pray was to claim for justice, freedom and peace as well as the establishment
of an independent committee to solve the irregularities during the election.

Cambodia-US Trade Volume Up 3,5 Percent in
First 7 Months of This Year
In first 7 months of this
year, the bilateral trade volume between Cambodia and the United States worth
1,723 million USD, up 3,5 percent, in comparing to the same period last year which
was 1,664 million USD worth. According to a figure from the US Trade Statistics,
from January to July 2013, Cambodia’s export to the US was 1,579 million USD
worth, up 3,3 percent, while Cambodia’s import from the US was 143 million USD
worth, up 5,8 percent in comparing to the same period last year. (Rasmei

Cheating the Residents through Sending the
Laborers to Work in Korea: Detain Director and Marketing Manager of You Can Win
Group Co., Ltd
The Director and marketing
manager of You Can Win Group Co., Ltd have cheated on thousands of residents through
sending the laborers to work in Korea. Fortunately, the secret was revealed to
the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training. The Director of company named
Oun Sarath, aged 30, address N 170 Street 440, Sangkat Toul Tom Poung, Khan
Chamkamorn and marketing manager named Kim Sophat, aged 29, allegedly charged
their clients 100 USD for forms the company advertised would permit them to
legally work in South Korea, yet the forms that the company sold were not
authorized by the Ministry of Labour as it was illegal, and provided the
residents no legal permission to work abroad, said Mr. Than Thavoreak, an
