Turns Demonstration to Pray for Peace
Cambodian National Rescue
Party (CNRP) turns a day of demonstration to be held on 7 September to a day of
prayer for peace so as not to cause turmoil in society, said Mr. Sam Rainsy,
the President of CNRP during a joint press conference yesterday. “We have to
follow the idea of our king and we should not do anything which causes turmoil;
more importantly, we will hold the demonstration peacefully, and we will
maintain our dignity. Therefore, a plan for demonstration will become a day of
prayer for peace, and we will gather from 8 to 11AM”, he added. (Rasmei
