Mr. Sam Rainsy Rejects the Protest to Overthrow the Government, Yet the Protest Still Happen

Mr. Sam Rainsy, the President of Cambodian National Rescue Party (CNRP), has rejected that his party has no plan to make a protest in order to overthrow the Cambodian government which was different from what the Ministry of Interior has informed the foreign Embassies in Cambodia, said the leader of opposition party during a press conference yesterday. “I would like to reject for anyone who said that we will make a protest to overthrow the government. As a matter of fact, what we want is a transparency of the election results, and we will not take the people power to make a protest, which cause turmoil”, he added. Samdech Techo Hun Sen to Attend the 10th ASEAN-China Expo

At the invitation of the Government of the People’s Republic of China,  Samdech Techo Hun Sen will lead a high level delegation to attend the 10th ASEAN-China Expo, to be held from 2 to 3 September 2013, in Nanning, Guangxi, the People’s Republic of China, according to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation dated 29 August 2013. During his visit, Premier Hun Sen will hold a bilateral talk with H.E. Li Keqiang, Premier of the State Council of China and meet H.E. Li Jiheng, Governor of Yunan Province of the People’s Republic of China. (Rasmei Kampuchea, 30 August 2013)
