The Opposition Leader Announces Demonstration When Constitutional Council Continue to Open Safety Package

During a meeting with the people at Freedom Park yesterday, the opposition leader of Cambodian National Rescue Party (CNRP) announced that he will lead demonstration in all places in Cambodia before the announcement of official election results despite the constitutional council continue to open safety package. The protest will be happened before the announcement of the official election results if an independent committee was not established. As a matter of fact, the aim of a protest is to claim for justice and an independent committee establishment. (Rasmei Kampuchea, 27 August 2013)

Cambodia-Korea Taekwondo Friendship Competition in 2013

Khmer-Booyoung Taekwondo Center at the National Sports Complex organized an event of the Cambodia-Korea Friendship Competition on 25 August. According to General Noun Sophea, Taekwondo Federation’s President, Taekwondo Federation Peace Corps consists of 8 members (four males and 4 females) arrived Cambodia since 8 July. The tournament yield participation from Boeung Trabek High School, the National Bodyguard department, New World Institute and Hosana School. This event really helps contribute to the Cambodian Taekwondo Federation’s experience and techniques, which help Cambodia to earn medal from SEA Games, said Mr. Ouk Sethycheat, director of the sports.
