Chakri Heng Samrin Requests for Keep Calm Not to Believe an Incitement

Chakri Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly, appealed to all the
people to keep calm not to believe an incitement of opposition party to join a
protest against the election results, which cause insecurity to society. The
election results showed that Cambodian People’s Party had won a majority votes
and were able to create the royal government although the two parties have not
reached an agreement yet. “The Royal Government still proceeds with his post,
and I still fulfill my duty as a President of the National Assembly so as to

Minister
of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China to Pay a Two-Day Official
Visit Cambodia
At the invitation of H.E. Hor
Namhong, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Cambodia, H.E. Wany Yi,
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China will lead a
delegation to pay a two-day official visit Cambodia from 20 to 21 August and
pay a courtesy call on Cambodian Premier Hun Sen as well as hold a bilateral
talk with H.E. Hor Namhong. His visit to Cambodia also coincides with the
celebration this year 2013 of the 55th anniversary of the
establishment of the relations between Cambodia and China and the Cambodia-China
year of friendship, according to a press release from Cambodian Foreign

Provides 4 Units of Container Scanning Machines to Cambodia
The People’s Republic of China
delivered four units of container scanning machines (type MT 1213LT) to
Cambodia, which was approximately 84,500,000 Yuan (13,8 million USD) worth
under the framework of economic and technical cooperation. The signing ceremony
was held yesterday between H.E. Keat Chhon, Minister of Economy and Finance,
and H.E. Mrs. Bu Jinguo, Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia. These container
scanning machines are very important to strengthen security and safety at
international checkpoints and to facilitate trade between Cambodia and Foreign
countries. In addition, it also further strengthens the relationship between
