Foreign Minister: China Continues to Prevent Cambodia from Outside Disturbance
China pledged to prevent
Cambodia from outside disturbance as well as strongly support for Cambodian
government, which has taken a measure in order to secure stability, economic
development and peace. China hopes that the parties in Cambodia will negotiate
peacefully so as to achieve a parliament and the government, said H.E. Wang Yi,
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China during a joint
press conference with H.E. Hor Namhong, Minister of Foreign Affairs and
International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Besides, H.E. Wang also
congratulated the Cambodian People’s Party for its victory in general election
and expressed hope that both political parties will settle the problem

High-Ranking Chinese Officer Says China Still Helping Cambodia in All Fields
A high-ranking officer of the People’s
Republic of China informed a high-ranking Cambodian officer that China will
further strengthen bilateral cooperation with Cambodia in all fields,
especially supports the election results and urges for political stability
after the election, said H.E. Luo Zhaohui, Chinese Ambassador who in charge of
ASEAN affairs and South China Sea during a meeting with H.E. Tep Ngorn, Second
Vice-President of the Senate. H.E. Luo expressed his sincere congratulation for
the people and Cambodian leader on their victory in general election for the 5th
mandate, adding that the aim of his visiting Cambodia is to strengthen
