The Royal Government Orders to Arrest Fake Survey Document Producer on the Seats of Cambodian People’s Party-National Rescue Party

The Royal Government of Cambodia ordered yesterday the competent authorities to arrest anyone who has produced a fake survey document of the International Republican Institute (IRI) on the result of a survey on the seats of the two main political parties including the Cambodian People’s Party and the Cambodian National Rescue Party in 24 provinces. The despicable act of this group has been undermining the election process and affecting the social stability. On the other hand, this evil group produced a fake survey document with the aim of jeopardizing social stability and causing insecurity in the country. The distributors wrote that a fake survey document belongs to IRI, yet Ms. JESSICA KEEGAN, President of IRI, said that the survey document is not produced by IRI. (Rasmei Kampuchea, 18 July 2013)

Samdech Krom Preah Appeals to the Citizens to Vote for Any Party that Protects the Monarchic Regime

Samdech Krom Preah Norodom Ranariddh appealed to the citizens to vote for any party that protects the monarchic regime. In an appeal letter, he said “I would like to appeal all Cambodian citizens to vote for any party that protects the monarchic regime honestly and maintain the constitutional monarchy and throne as stated in the constitution in 1993. Besides, I would like to express profound thanks to all Cambodian people for the affections of the nation, religion and king”. (Rasmei Kampuchea, 18 July 2013)

The Trade between South Korea and Cambodia worth 329 Million USD

In the first five months of this year, the trade between Cambodia and South Korea worth 329 million USD, up 12 percent, according to the Korea Trade- Investment Promotion Agency. From January to May 2013, Cambodia’s export to Korea worth approximately 56 million USD, up 4 percent, while Cambodia’s import from Korea was 273 million USD worth, up 14 percent in comparing to the same period last year. Last year, the bilateral trade between the two countries worth approximately 720 million USD, it added. Cambodia’s export products to South Korea are garments, rubbers and agricultural products, while purchased from South Korea autos, chemical products and electronic goods.
