The Meeting with British Deputy Foreign Minister: Ruling Party Raises the Strengthening of Cambodia-UK Relationship but the Opposition Party Raises a Disrespect for Human Rights

Regarding the today’s meeting with British Deputy Foreign Minister, the opposition party Mr. Kem Sokha plans to raise a disrespect for human rights in Cambodia, vanquishing a protest of the workers and citizens by using violence, breaking up a rally, disturbance of politics and violation of the land which happened in Koh Kong and Rattanakiri province. Concerning the political situation, CNRP will not request the British Deputy Foreign Minister to help coordinate political issues in Cambodia as Cambodian politician are able to solve the problem with a real willingness. Mr. Koy Kuong, spokesman for the Foreign Ministry, has considered the visit of Minister as the important one in boosting and strengthening relationship and cooperation between the government of Cambodia and the UK. JICA to Provide 2 Medium Size Milling Machines to the Community in Two Provinces

JICA plans to provide 2 medium size milling machines to the two communities in Takeo and Kompong Thom province in order to grind the rice with a high quality in accordance with the market’s requirements. Mr. ICHIKAWA Masakazu, vice-president of JICA, said the two Japanese companies named Kansai Corporation and Taiwa Seiki are investing in coal production from chaffs and producing the small and medium size milling machine, which provide convenience for Cambodia since the country has a lot of chaffs and needs to produce the rice with high quality for international market.
